Ok to me love is the principle of giving, but it is the principle of giving whats in the BEST INTENT of others.....not giving them want they want. There is a big difference here!! People who love never become doormats, never get exploited, never get taken advantage of......and this is because they set healthy boundaries. The people who get taken advantage of are operating out of FEAR not love. Fear of rejection, fear of abandonment, fear of disappointing people, ect ect....fear is the motive here not love. Trust and love are developed in a free atmosphere where you feel safe to communicate about anything....where you know when you speak you will be heard and not rejected or retaliated against.
Always remember that LOVE risks rejection to do what is right, regardless of how it feels.
